ACM200 Communication Module

The ACM200 communication module exists to expand the capabilities and connectivity of the IND226x and the IND560x industrial terminals. Designed for installation only within the safe area, the ACM200 provides an intrinsically safe communication link between the weighing terminal in the hazardous area and safe area peripheral devices such as PCs or printers or even another weighing terminal from METTLER TOLEDO.

An intrinsically safe

CL-interface to the IND226x or IND560x in the hazardous area, allows for fast, bi-directional communication without the need for additional signal barriers.

Safe area connectivity...

through an internal RS232 connection.

Industrial housing...

constructed of chrome nickel steel and IP66 certified. The housing will withstand harsh environments, and includes integrated mounting brackets to simplify installation.

ACM200 Communication module features and Benefits

Communicate via an intrinsically safe current loop to one IND226x or IND560x located in the hazardous area. This allows for fast, bi-directional communication without the need for additional signal barriers.

The ACM200 has one RS232 output that can be connected to devices such as PCs or printers or another weighing terminal from METTLER TOLEDO. The RS232 connection can also be connected to a Profibus module allowing for even greater process integration.
