Background
Heat plays an important role in chemical reactions because it can accelerate the rate of reaction. Therefore heat is needed in many locations in a plant and heat exchangers are used to transfer heat to the process. Condensate contamination through leaks in the heat exchanger can lead to a damage of the boiler. Reliable and quick leak detection can be provided by using a cond measuring system (see Figure 1 ).....
