The powerful and innovative transmitter with Profibus® PA interface.

The O2 4100-PA is a transmitter with Profibus® PA interface and suitable for highly reliable and accurate dissolved oxygen measurements in many applications. The instrument is easy to operate and the large-size LC display provides a wide range of information. The measured value is shown in large characters and additional pictographs explain transmitter function and warn of any signal irregularities. The O2 4100-PA is equipped with a Profibus® PA interface according to the profile for analytical devices, Version 3.0.

Description

The FISCO model (Fieldbus Intrinsically Safe Concept) allows installation of the transmitter in hazardous areas. The instrument can be configured via the bus with the aid of a suitable engineering tool (e.g. Siemens PDM) or through the front panel keypads on the instrument. The O2 4100-PA allows mapping of the individual function blocks according to the PNO profile for analytical devices, Version 3.0.

The instruments can be wall-, panel- or pipe-mounted and the removable front door with the plug-in connection terminals allows easy access to the instrument for service or maintenance work.

The advanced transmitter

The large and well-arranged LC display shows saturation or concentration and temperature simultaneously. Status symbols provide information on the momentary mode of operation. Safe operation is guaranteed by the built-in sensor and transmitter diagnostic.

Easy to use

The instrument is easy to install through plug-in terminals and detachable IP65-protected front casing.

Simple and cost efficient wiring and maintenace

The Profibus® PA transmitter is based on a two-wire concept with full bi-directional digital communication. Measuring values, status information and diagnostic functions can be monitored from a central control station.
