LabX pro titration software

In addition to the features of LabX light the pro version offers:

Networking:

• Allows control of multiple titrators over the network.
• Client/server architecture: methods and titration data can be put on a centralnetwork server.

Smartcodes™:

• Label your samples with a bar code and LabX will find the corresponding titration method for every sample.
• The method is encoded in the Smartcode™ and automatically selected when read in with the barcode reader.

LabX professional functions designed for FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant workflow/ data processing:

User management:

• User accounts are defined by unique user name and password.
• 4 predefined user-levels.
• Comprehensive definition of individual access privileges of each level is possible.
• User profiles may be used for the definition of the equipment a user has access to.

System access (login/logoff):

• Login onto the system is only possible by entering a matching and valid user name and password.
• The user account is deactivated after 3 unsuccessful attempts to log on.
• Reactivation is possible by the administrator only.
• System logoff is possible at any time without closing the application (started processes continue, but can not changed while logged off).
• The user is logged off automatically after a specified time to prevent unauthorized access while the instrument is unattended.
• If multiple users work in parallel on the same PC, LabX pro titration can be started multiple times, using different logins/passwords for each copy

Password rules and -management:

• A minimum password length can be defined. The use of special characters can be inforced.
• The passwords expire at specified intervals. Old passwords cannot be reused.
• All changes in user data and system settings are logged in the Audit Trail.
• The Audit Trail lists user, date, time, type of change, old value/new value, reason for change.
• The log file can be viewed, printed and backed up.

Electronic signature:

• All changes are recorded together with the digital signature.
• The user has to give a reason why a change was made.

Data security:

• All data is stored in a Microsoft SQL database which cannot be directly accessed by a user.
• It's impossible to remove or alter data in an uncontrolled manner. However, the database can be accessed with the proper tools and user rights (for emergency data retrievals in cases when LabX professional is not vailable/not working).

Audit trail:

• All changes in user data and system settings are logged.
• The log file can be viewed, printed and backed up.

Data export:

• Automatic data export to LIMS.
• Automatic or manual export to Microsoft Excel.
